I named myself The Crafting Professor, since I'm a crafter, and I'm a college professor. I went through many, many years of graduate school, and the best source of relaxation and stress relief was being in my craft room or going to a local crop. Back then, I never told anyone that I was a full-time graduate student. I was waiting for the day I would scrapbook my graduation page. Now, I run the ScrapbookerPhD challenge blog (http://scrapbookerphd.blogspot.com), and am bringing my passion for crafting and teaching together. But here, at The Crafting Professor, I'm just sharing my work with like-minded crafters from all over the world.

Everyday is a Gift

Everyday is a gift says the sentiment by CardzTV in the Just Saying set. I love this sentiment and wanted to use it on a card for a dear friend. I fell in love with this digital stamp from Dilly Bean called Lulu Framed and decided that this was the perfect image to combine with the sentiment.

To bring Lulu to life, I colored her with my Copics:

Skin: E000, E00, E11, E21, R04, and R20.
Hair: R59, R46, R29, and R22.
Eyes and Stripes: G00, G02, and G17.

I put the card together using my Cricut Explore. The black decorative frame is from the CTMH Artbooking cartridge. The black and white heart paper is from the Recollections Black Jack stack.
