I named myself The Crafting Professor, since I'm a crafter, and I'm a college professor. I went through many, many years of graduate school, and the best source of relaxation and stress relief was being in my craft room or going to a local crop. Back then, I never told anyone that I was a full-time graduate student. I was waiting for the day I would scrapbook my graduation page. Now, I run the ScrapbookerPhD challenge blog (http://scrapbookerphd.blogspot.com), and am bringing my passion for crafting and teaching together. But here, at The Crafting Professor, I'm just sharing my work with like-minded crafters from all over the world.

Hello Gorgeous

Today, I challenge you to use a stamp that you have never used before. Don't worry about going to purchase something. We all have unused stamps in our stash. That was the inspiration for this card. This stamp comes from a Penny Black stamp set called, Hello Gorgeous. There are three beautiful stamps of fashionista women and many accessories. I decided to use one stamp as a focal point.

I actually worked backwards here. Since I wanted the image to be the focal point, I created the card to perfectly fit the image. I added the two Penny Black sentiments, hello gorgeous from this stamp set, and the other from the April Showers set. I used blue liquid pearls to give dimension and shine.

And done!
This was a quick one.

Spectrum Noir markers used:

Skin: FS4, TN2, TN3
Hair: TN3, EB3, EB4
Dress: IB1, IB2, IB3, BT9
Bag: CR10, CR11
