I named myself The Crafting Professor, since I'm a crafter, and I'm a college professor. I went through many, many years of graduate school, and the best source of relaxation and stress relief was being in my craft room or going to a local crop. Back then, I never told anyone that I was a full-time graduate student. I was waiting for the day I would scrapbook my graduation page. Now, I run the ScrapbookerPhD challenge blog (http://scrapbookerphd.blogspot.com), and am bringing my passion for crafting and teaching together. But here, at The Crafting Professor, I'm just sharing my work with like-minded crafters from all over the world.

RIP

It's time for another card challenge with Cardz TV. The theme for this challenge is to make a scene for a Halloween card.

Do you notice how much time characters in scary Halloween horror movies spend at graveyards? Don't they every learn their lesson? It is just like when a the characters split up in the horror movies. Why? We, the audience are always hyper aware of the codes for a Hallowen movie. I, myself, do not find reasons to go to a graveyard in the middle of the night, especially on Halloween. So for this card, I imagined what a spooky, but fun scene there might be at a graveyard on Halloween with out being disturbed.

The background paper is just a green camouflage from my stash. I inked the moon, bat and grass to give it more depth, and added a few orange Skittles from DoubleClick Skittles for a little shine.

The best part of this card is seriously the sentiment. I couldn't find a more perfect sentiment to go with these amazing cat eyes. So spooky. This sentiment is from the latest Cardz TV set, Fight Night. It's a must have.
