I named myself The Crafting Professor, since I'm a crafter, and I'm a college professor. I went through many, many years of graduate school, and the best source of relaxation and stress relief was being in my craft room or going to a local crop. Back then, I never told anyone that I was a full-time graduate student. I was waiting for the day I would scrapbook my graduation page. Now, I run the ScrapbookerPhD challenge blog (http://scrapbookerphd.blogspot.com), and am bringing my passion for crafting and teaching together. But here, at The Crafting Professor, I'm just sharing my work with like-minded crafters from all over the world.

Queen of Dreams
Project 19 of my Simply Betty Stamps Challenge: Color every image in the Simply Betty Collection. That's over 500 images not including the new releases this year. I can't believe how close I am to 20 images. I'm really motivated, but I have a long way to go, especially with a brand new line of images and some re-releasing of retired images. Come join my blog and cheer me on while I work my way through the Simply Betty Catalog.
This time, my inspiration came from Simply Betty's Challenge: Color this Goblin Queen image (new image). I absolutely love this image and wanted it to be the focal point of the project in a CAS style. I just love the sentiment here, and I plan to send this to a wonderful friend who just had her dream come true with an incredible job offer.
To color her, I used my Copics:
Hair
BV08, BV04, BV02
Skin
BV00, E50, E02, E00, R22 (N2 for eyeshadow)
Dress
E15, Y17, Y15, Y11
Goblin
YG07
Wings
BV02, BV00, BV000
The wings have a layer of Wink of Stella for some shimmer, but it is hard to tell in the photo.
The sentiment came with the Simply Betty image, and I added just a touch of flourish from my stash.
Challenges Entered

Creative Moments: AG + For a Special Woman
Fantastic Tuesday: AG + Square
