I named myself The Crafting Professor, since I'm a crafter, and I'm a college professor. I went through many, many years of graduate school, and the best source of relaxation and stress relief was being in my craft room or going to a local crop. Back then, I never told anyone that I was a full-time graduate student. I was waiting for the day I would scrapbook my graduation page. Now, I run the ScrapbookerPhD challenge blog (http://scrapbookerphd.blogspot.com), and am bringing my passion for crafting and teaching together. But here, at The Crafting Professor, I'm just sharing my work with like-minded crafters from all over the world.

Happiness is Puppies
Do you watch tutorials online or take craft classes? If you haven't taken a class through Craft Classes Online, you are really missing out. I'm in the middle of their Spellbinders class and though I have had my Spellbinder die cuts for years now, there is so much I didn't know I could do.
This project is from my first lesson. It was so much fun to focus on the sentiment and layer spellbinders frame die cuts and embossed. These die cuts are great because you can both cut and emboss!
The sentiment is from Cloud 9 Design.
The dog sticker and flowers are from my stash.
I'm sending this card to my good friend and trainer, Heather, who work with me and my dog in Dock Diving competition.
Challenges Entered
Get Creative: Embossing (the die cuts are embossed)
Path of Positivity: Serendipity
Creative Craft Cottage: Sentiment
A Gem of a Challenge: CAS

ReplyDeleteAwesome card, Faith. I need to take a Spellbinders class myself-thanks for the recommendation. While having puppies in your life is a great source of positivity, can you come over to the Path of Positivity and explain how your card fits into the serendipity theme? We appreciate your playing in our challenge and wouldn't want you to miss out in the prizes being offered this month! LOL
