I named myself The Crafting Professor, since I'm a crafter, and I'm a college professor. I went through many, many years of graduate school, and the best source of relaxation and stress relief was being in my craft room or going to a local crop. Back then, I never told anyone that I was a full-time graduate student. I was waiting for the day I would scrapbook my graduation page. Now, I run the ScrapbookerPhD challenge blog (http://scrapbookerphd.blogspot.com), and am bringing my passion for crafting and teaching together. But here, at The Crafting Professor, I'm just sharing my work with like-minded crafters from all over the world.

Hot Flashes

This winter is killing me!
My mom and I complain on a daily basis about how cold we are - even in the house with the heat on. I made this CAS, one layer card for my mom about our shared resentment of this messy, cold, snowy winter.

Both the woman and the sentiment come from Sweet & Sassy's Winter with Winnie stamp set. Such a cute set with tons of funny sentiments. I colored the woman with my Copics:

Hair: E21, E25, E29.
Jeans: B12, B24, B28
Scarf & Boots: C3, C5, C7, C8
Skin: E00, E11, E04

I added a few dots of color in blue and silver.
Finally, I stamped the snowflakes in silver.
