I named myself The Crafting Professor, since I'm a crafter, and I'm a college professor. I went through many, many years of graduate school, and the best source of relaxation and stress relief was being in my craft room or going to a local crop. Back then, I never told anyone that I was a full-time graduate student. I was waiting for the day I would scrapbook my graduation page. Now, I run the ScrapbookerPhD challenge blog (http://scrapbookerphd.blogspot.com), and am bringing my passion for crafting and teaching together. But here, at The Crafting Professor, I'm just sharing my work with like-minded crafters from all over the world.

Christmas Eve

It's challenge time at The Alley Way Stamps: Be Inspired. This month's inspiration is  series of photos that all remind me of elements of Christmas. So I immediately took out my stamp set With Wondering Awe and got started. I have wanted to create a Christmas Eve themed card this season, and this stamp set was perfect to create a scene. *I also added a bird from the set Birds of a Feather as well.

I used my Spectrum Noir markers for coloring:
Mouse - TN2, 3
Bird - DR 3, 5
Green - LG 2, 3, 4
Pink - PP5 (for mouse)

  1. This card is pleasant to look at. For some reason, it has a restful feel to it. Is it the adorable creatures or the design? Probably both. I totally love it!

    Happy New Year!
