I named myself The Crafting Professor, since I'm a crafter, and I'm a college professor. I went through many, many years of graduate school, and the best source of relaxation and stress relief was being in my craft room or going to a local crop. Back then, I never told anyone that I was a full-time graduate student. I was waiting for the day I would scrapbook my graduation page. What gives you the Hebbie Jebbies?

Today is the day! Challenge #7 for DoubleClick Skittles, and we have a Halloween themed color challenge for you! Get out your spooky black and sparkly orange, your deep purple and the meanest green!

For my project, I worked on a card for one of my young nephews. Nothing scary for the little ones, so I decided to use this adorable spider in the hat as a play off of the cat in the hat. The SVG files is from KaDoodle Bug Designs. It's the first file I have used from them, and I loved it. Very easy to work with. 


I knew I wanted the hat to be purple and orange, so I went with a purple mat on the card and a purple pattern circle under the spider. I used a Spellbinders die cut for the circle. That pumpkin on the bottom is actually a brad, and I thought it looked super cute with the spider. 


Finally, I added the orange DoubleClick Skittles and the sentiment, Hebbie Jebbies, from CardzTV, Spooky Sayings. That's a must have stamp set.
