I named myself The Crafting Professor, since I'm a crafter, and I'm a college professor. I went through many, many years of graduate school, and the best source of relaxation and stress relief was being in my craft room or going to a local crop. Back then, I never told anyone that I was a full-time graduate student. I was waiting for the day I would scrapbook my graduation page. Hello, Merlot


Are you using SVG files with your die cutting machines, well, don't miss out on Designs on Cloud 9. They have a terrific range of files - some complete files, some singular, and of course, a weekly FREE file. I am honored to be part of their Design Team.
For my project this week, I had a lot of fun with their Cocktails cutting file. There are hundreds of possibilities with this cutting file. I love the sentiment and the layering that goes with it, but I wanted to make a card, and I had the perfect sentiment by Paper Smooches, Free Spirits set. 


To make the glass, I used Vellum. Surprisingly I remembered this sheet of patterned paper by Recollections, Bold Basics stack, and it was just perfect. The colors match, and it looks like a bit of bubbly. Finally, a glass like this isn't complete with out watermelon color Skittles that you can buy HERE.
