I named myself The Crafting Professor, since I'm a crafter, and I'm a college professor. I went through many, many years of graduate school, and the best source of relaxation and stress relief was being in my craft room or going to a local crop. Back then, I never told anyone that I was a full-time graduate student. I was waiting for the day I would scrapbook my graduation page. To qualify for the prize, be sure to use at least 1 Cricut cut on your project and if it's not obvious, let us know what cartridge you used.


For my project, I started with a frame from Creative Memories: Holidays, Frames, and Tags. Since the side of the black layer had notebook holes in it, I threaded blue and white twine through the holes.  As I was thinking about a notebook, I wondered what would be in this one. I didn't want it to be just a writing journal or a photo book, so I decided it was an art book. The art palette and brushes are from the Cricut cartridge, Recess. The pain splatter is a paper punch from EK Success. All of the products came from my stash.
