I named myself The Crafting Professor, since I'm a crafter, and I'm a college professor. I went through many, many years of graduate school, and the best source of relaxation and stress relief was being in my craft room or going to a local crop. Back then, I never told anyone that I was a full-time graduate student. I was waiting for the day I would scrapbook my graduation page. Now, I run the ScrapbookerPhD challenge blog (http://scrapbookerphd.blogspot.com), and am bringing my passion for crafting and teaching together. But here, at The Crafting Professor, I'm just sharing my work with like-minded crafters from all over the world.

Easter Basket

It's time for another card challenge with Cardz TV stamps. Our challenge this week is Easter!  Are you planning for your egg hunt or your baskets? Check out our design team inspirations.

For my project today, I used the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbon SVG cut file for card bases. I love the look of the scalloped border. I used pink as my base color with a pretty light green on top embossed with a flower folder. Next I cut the Easter basket from Cricut's Easter 2010 release. I added a pop of bing to the center of the bow. Finally, I used the CardzTV stamp set, Going in Circles for the Happy Easter sentiment.

Challenges Entered:
Brown Sugar Challenge - Easter
Jo's Scrap Shack Challenge - Easter
Kitty Bee Designs - Easter
