I named myself The Crafting Professor, since I'm a crafter, and I'm a college professor. I went through many, many years of graduate school, and the best source of relaxation and stress relief was being in my craft room or going to a local crop. Back then, I never told anyone that I was a full-time graduate student. I was waiting for the day I would scrapbook my graduation page. Now, I run the ScrapbookerPhD challenge blog (http://scrapbookerphd.blogspot.com), and am bringing my passion for crafting and teaching together. But here, at The Crafting Professor, I'm just sharing my work with like-minded crafters from all over the world.

March Calendar

It's time for another inspiration using Designs on Cloud 9 svg files. They have a terrific range of files - some complete files, some singular, and of course, a weekly FREE file. I am honored to be part of their Design Team. I love the inspiration I get from all of the different styles.

My project for this week is for the calendar project I am making for a friend. Last week, I showcased February. Today I am showcasing March.

On each of the months, I have stamp the calendar. For this month I used the calendar stamp by Waffle Flower.  Each month always includes a photo and die cuts that go with the holidays of the month. For Mach, I used the Designs on Cloud 9, Lucky Bears file for the title, So Lucky. I added the felt circle with the sentiment for the holiday. Finally, I added a shamrock brad to finish it off.
