I named myself The Crafting Professor, since I'm a crafter, and I'm a college professor. I went through many, many years of graduate school, and the best source of relaxation and stress relief was being in my craft room or going to a local crop. Back then, I never told anyone that I was a full-time graduate student. I was waiting for the day I would scrapbook my graduation page. Now, I run the ScrapbookerPhD challenge blog (http://scrapbookerphd.blogspot.com), and am bringing my passion for crafting and teaching together. But here, at The Crafting Professor, I'm just sharing my work with like-minded crafters from all over the world.

Christmas Wreath

Today is the day! Another great challenge at DoubleClick Skittles. The inspiration for this week is Holidays! And it is the perfect time of year to make Holiday cards. Come join us in our challenge.

I decided to make another Christmas card since I haven't finished them yet. My inspiration came from this wreath SVG file from Pretty Patterns, Pretty Ribbons. I took the picture on a little bit of an angle hoping that the Wink of Stella would show up on the bow. You can just barely make it out. Since I didn't want to use a stamped sentiment, I chose to use paper with  the sentiment, merry and bright. Both patterns papers are from my stash from last year. I added a touch of silver ribbon and three Skittles in the color Bottle.

Pile it On: Holiday/Christmas
