I named myself The Crafting Professor, since I'm a crafter, and I'm a college professor. I went through many, many years of graduate school, and the best source of relaxation and stress relief was being in my craft room or going to a local crop. Back then, I never told anyone that I was a full-time graduate student. I was waiting for the day I would scrapbook my graduation page. Now, I run the ScrapbookerPhD challenge blog (http://scrapbookerphd.blogspot.com), and am bringing my passion for crafting and teaching together. But here, at The Crafting Professor, I'm just sharing my work with like-minded crafters from all over the world.

Older and Wiser

You may remember that I am on the Design Team for Designs on Cloud 9 where you can find wonderful SVG cutting files (and a weekly freebie). But did you know that the owner of Designs on Cloud 9 is also the owner of the Pink & Main Stamp line. Here, I am using the What a Hoot stamp set to make this birthday card.

The background paper is from my stash, the die cut for the image is from Spellbinders, and the ribbon is also from my stash. I colored the image with my Spectrum Noir Markers and added Liquid Glass to the balloons and the party hat.

Challenges Entered
Aud Sentiments: two to three word sentiment
Just Add Ink: sketch
Send A Smile 4 Kids: any holiday
