I named myself The Crafting Professor, since I'm a crafter, and I'm a college professor. I went through many, many years of graduate school, and the best source of relaxation and stress relief was being in my craft room or going to a local crop. Back then, I never told anyone that I was a full-time graduate student. I was waiting for the day I would scrapbook my graduation page. Now, I run the ScrapbookerPhD challenge blog (http://scrapbookerphd.blogspot.com), and am bringing my passion for crafting and teaching together. But here, at The Crafting Professor, I'm just sharing my work with like-minded crafters from all over the world.

Breast Cancer Awareness

Today is the day! Challenge #6 for DoubleClick Skittles, and guess what? I'm on the Design Team. Our sixth challenge theme is Breast Cancer Awareness or use pink. Such a great theme because so many of us have been touched in some way by Breast Cancer.

I wanted to celebrate awareness, and used as much pink as possible. I started with a the patterned papers. I cut the circle with a Spellbinders die and put the sentiment square on top. I wrote the sentiment with my Cricut Explore. Last touches were the ribbon, the charm (on the sentiment), and of course my Skittles.

Challenges Entered:

Die Cuttin' Divas: Anything Goes
Crafty Sentiments: BINGO (designer paper, die cut, sentiment)
Make My Monday: Die Cuts or Punches
CCEE Challenges: Breast Cancer Awareness
