I named myself The Crafting Professor, since I'm a crafter, and I'm a college professor. I went through many, many years of graduate school, and the best source of relaxation and stress relief was being in my craft room or going to a local crop. Back then, I never told anyone that I was a full-time graduate student. I was waiting for the day I would scrapbook my graduation page. Now, I run the ScrapbookerPhD challenge blog (http://scrapbookerphd.blogspot.com), and am bringing my passion for crafting and teaching together. But here, at The Crafting Professor, I'm just sharing my work with like-minded crafters from all over the world.

Roar!!!

Last Sunday, my husband and I took two of our nephews to this fantastic dinosaur exhibit where the dinosaurs were fully animated, so they moved and roared. The boys absolutely enjoyed this adventure, and we learned quite a bit. My older nephew (6 years old) learned how to determine if a dinosaur is a meat eater or a leaf eater. It was such a fantastic learning experience. I created this card to send to the boys to remind them of our grand adventure and to think about what we should do next.

All of the die cuts are from Pretty Papers, Pretty Ribbon in their Dino-Mite cutting file. I loved the idea of hiding the trees behind the dinosaur. Lucky me! I found this fabulous dinosaur patterned paper in my Boyhood Stack by DCWV. The sun is actually a brad that I picked up somewhere. I think it is super cute, and it goes with the fun theme here. The boys love glitter, so I smeared orange and green glitter ob the dinosaur and the trees. There is a hint of brown glitter on the bark of the trees.
