I named myself The Crafting Professor, since I'm a crafter, and I'm a college professor. I went through many, many years of graduate school, and the best source of relaxation and stress relief was being in my craft room or going to a local crop. Back then, I never told anyone that I was a full-time graduate student. I was waiting for the day I would scrapbook my graduation page. Now, I run the ScrapbookerPhD challenge blog (http://scrapbookerphd.blogspot.com), and am bringing my passion for crafting and teaching together. But here, at The Crafting Professor, I'm just sharing my work with like-minded crafters from all over the world.

Pucker Up!

Today is the day! Challenge #2 for DoubleClick Skittles, and guess what? I'm on the Design Team. Our second challenge theme is FRUIT. Such a great theme because there are so many ways to go with this theme.

For my projects, I knew exactly what I wanted to do - CITRUS. First of all, there is a Skittles color called Citrus! How lucky!! And I have a great stamp set from Cardz TV called Garden Greetings with the sentiment, Pucker Up - that says Citrus to me! A quick die cut/svg search yielded too many possibilities to count, and I fell in love with this set from Miss Kate CuttablesFinally, I smeared glitter (fire opal, yellow barite and golden beryl) from Martha Stewart around the orange, lemon, and lime.

Challenges

Inkspirational: Orange, Red, Yellow
Kitty Bee Designs: In the Garden
A•Muse Sudios: Die Cuts
