I named myself The Crafting Professor, since I'm a crafter, and I'm a college professor. I went through many, many years of graduate school, and the best source of relaxation and stress relief was being in my craft room or going to a local crop. Back then, I never told anyone that I was a full-time graduate student. I was waiting for the day I would scrapbook my graduation page. Now, I run the ScrapbookerPhD challenge blog (http://scrapbookerphd.blogspot.com), and am bringing my passion for crafting and teaching together. But here, at The Crafting Professor, I'm just sharing my work with like-minded crafters from all over the world.

Shouldn't I Be Working???

It's 3 pm right now, and yes, I should be working, but I couldn't help but use my new Docerela stamps. The set I used is called Summertime, and it is fabulous. I love Docerela stamps (a new find for me) because they take ink so well, and I always get a crisp and even stamp. I really wanted to use the Thanks a Melon sentiment because of this fantastic cut file from PPbN SVG site. All of the patterned paper is from my stash, including my glittered ribbon which I have barely used since I got it months ago. But, I have to take a moment to say how much I love my Skittles on this card. They just pull all of the colors together, so I used three sets of two colors. Not only that, but the pink Skittles color is called Watermelon. The green color is called Bottle Glitter. Get your Skittles HERE.

  2. Really cute card. Normally I don't like (gah) pink, but with this color green it totally works. :)

Thanks for joining us at Shopping Our Stash!
