I named myself The Crafting Professor, since I'm a crafter, and I'm a college professor. I went through many, many years of graduate school, and the best source of relaxation and stress relief was being in my craft room or going to a local crop. Back then, I never told anyone that I was a full-time graduate student. I was waiting for the day I would scrapbook my graduation page. Now, I run the ScrapbookerPhD challenge blog (http://scrapbookerphd.blogspot.com), and am bringing my passion for crafting and teaching together. But here, at The Crafting Professor, I'm just sharing my work with like-minded crafters from all over the world.

Love in Bloom

Happy Monday and welcome to another Monday challenge!

Challenge #218  Summer Treats

This Weeks Sponsor

Winner will receive Silly Shells Stamp Set
~This Weeks Challenge~
Summer Treats
Create a project that represents the tastes of summer

To qualify for the prize, be sure to use at least 1 Cricut cut on your project and if it's not obvious, let us know what cartridge you used.

I was so excited by our challenge this week because I have been waiting to use my Cardz TV stamp set Garden Greetings for so long. Here, I used, Love in Bloom. There were so many great choices in this stamp set. That's not all. I knew that I had this fantastic Strawberry Box Card from SVGcuts.com that I have been wanting to try out since I made my first box card for the 4th of July.

Products used:

The exterior panel floral paper is from the Rustic Stack by DCWV. This is a fantastic stack; half of the pages have texture and glitter. It is a 12x12 stack that I got for $6 at JoAnn's.

The interior panel flaps are from the Lemon Flower Stack by DCWV (same type of stack and price as the Rustic Stack).

The exterior panel flaps and the strawberries are by Crate Paper, but there is no name on the stack.

Finally, I added green gems to the center off the flowers.

Challenges Entered:

Fussy and Fancy: Summertime
In the Pink: Good Enough to Eat
Pile it On: Add some flowers
Use Your Stuff: Leaves
