I named myself The Crafting Professor, since I'm a crafter, and I'm a college professor. I went through many, many years of graduate school, and the best source of relaxation and stress relief was being in my craft room or going to a local crop. Back then, I never told anyone that I was a full-time graduate student. I was waiting for the day I would scrapbook my graduation page. Now, I run the ScrapbookerPhD challenge blog (http://scrapbookerphd.blogspot.com), and am bringing my passion for crafting and teaching together. You Did it! Happy Graduation

For my project this week, I decided to make a more traditional graduation card. My last graduation project was an apple box for my nephew's Kindergarten Graduation. The patterned paper background is from my stash and is actually notebook cardstock. Using my Recess Cricut cartridge, I cut both the diploma and the graduation cap. For the stamp, I used one of CardzTV sets, Happy Days. The Celebrate stamp is from an unknown source. Finally I added a little bit of my stash such as the star brads and the circle embellishment.


I love the way the diploma came out. I cut three layers all in white, and it truly looks like rolled paper.
