Here is my Gallery Post for CardzTV today. I am showcasing a card that I made for my niece's birthday. She is such a delight. This butterfly patterned paper by American Crafts really caught my eye, and I can practically see her running and chasing butterflies. Using the pink and red color combination, I added the heart patterned paper to break up the business of the butterflies and used black as a background for everything. The sentiment stamp is from the Good Times set at CardzTV. Finally, I layered scalloped circles to place my die cut butterfly from Paper Artist.

St. Patrick's Day

For my Gallery Post for CardzTV today, I am showcasing a CAS card that I made for St. Patrick's Day. I really wanted the mustaches to be the focal point, so I kept the background white. The sentiment stamp is from the Happy Days set at CardzTV. The mustaches are actually stickers that I found in the clearance section at Target. The top and bottom mustache is made of felt. The middle two have covered in glitter.

Heavenly

Hello Crafters. 

I was cleaning up the craft table... again, and I found some scrap orange paper, and I knew that I wanted to do some coloring. I love to color flowers, but I rarely find the right sentiment fitting the style of flower. CardzTV stamp set Heavenly is perfect. I decided to use "A Little Touch of Heaven" since I thought these flowers were so delicate and precious. 

I used my Copic markers the YRs and YGs. I just pulled three different colors. The floral stamp is from Mark's Finest Papers.  I added some glittery gold dots around the card and some turquoise ink using a dabber.

For my Gallery Post for CardzTV today, I am showcasing a generic card that I made for a young girl. She is bright and beautiful girl. I chose this Simply Betty Digital Stamp called Lava Betty to color. Because I wanted to use lots of embellishments, the CardzTV small stamp "smile" from the Mixed Messages stamp was the perfect size.

Greeting Crafter's

For my Gallery Post today at CardzTV, I really wanted to go out of my comfort zone and use a really bold pattern paper. I decide to do some coloring that was small enough that it didn't take up too much of the pattern. I used my Copics for the coloring, and then I added the paper flowers and the red ribbon. For my sentiment I used CardzTV sentiment from "Heavenly." It was just perfect.

For my project, I created a card to send to one of my close friends. I wanted to play around with color, using red and purple and some teal. The background paper really stands out, so I embellished very simply with the ribbon bow and flower. 

Prince of the Ocean

Hello Crafters,
For my gallery post today at CardzTV, I'm using the CardzTV set, Fun in the Sun. This is the perfect set of sentiments for all of your summer activities. 

My previous gallery post was a mermaid, so I decided to do a mer-man this time (or in this case, a mer-boy). I used two sentiments, "Splash" and "Keep on Swimming".

I played with various combinations of greens and blues on the body, hair, tail, and fins (all Copic markers). A few pop up fish stickers surround him, mat on a swirly blue patterned paper.


This is also project 32 of my Simply Betty Stamps Challenge: Color every image in the Simply Betty Collection. That's over 500 images not including the new releases this year. It's amazing how much inspiration I get from her images. I'm super excited about all of the encouragement and feedback from my followers.
