Now that I am doing so much coloring, I really have to learn to keep track of the Copic colors that I use! Right now, I typically sit in front of my Copic case, and choose markers that "look" right to me. I knew I wanted this amazing fairy to really stand out, so I used this stair step card to give her more space. I cut her and her mat from a Sizzix die cut. The silver metal flowers are from my stash. The red background paper is from my stash, and the blue sentiment is chipboard from my stash. On the sides of the stair step are heart die cuts from La La Land Crafts.
I named myself The Crafting Professor, since I'm a crafter, and I'm a college professor. I went through many, many years of graduate school, and the best source of relaxation and stress relief was being in my craft room or going to a local crop. Back then, I never told anyone that I was a full-time graduate student. I was waiting for the day I would scrapbook my graduation page. Now, I run the ScrapbookerPhD challenge blog (http://scrapbookerphd.blogspot.com), and am bringing my passion for crafting and teaching together. But here, at The Crafting Professor, I'm just sharing my work with like-minded crafters from all over the world.

Fairy Blue
Project 24 of my Simply Betty Stamps Challenge: Color every image in the Simply Betty Collection. That's over 500 images not including the new releases this year. I'm over the 20 project mark, but I'm disappointed I didn't make it through 25 over the weekend. I am super motivated thanks to you and all of your positive feedback, but I have a long way to go, especially since Betty seems to release new images all of the time - like this special edition fairy image called Cordelia. Come join my blog and cheer me on while I work my way through the Simply Betty Catalog.
